Mahuhwii (we call her Mahi for short) was our tour guide for P-day. She was able to show us around the city which will help us in getting around. The first picture was taken in a street that leads to a beautiful Hindu temple. The street turns into an alley and it goes uphill, getting narrow and crowded towards the top.
the 2nd picture we climbed 140 plus stairs in a narrow spiral staircase that goes up, up & up. Lousy picture of me but the cutest one I had of Mahi. She is a wonderful girl. 21 years old and had a very hard life. She leaves tomorrow for Bangalore. She will go by bus and it will take her 12 hours. She has a good job waiting for her and hopefully her future will be brighter. She will have to ride a bus to get to church on Sundays. She will ride 4 hours one way to attend church. And I can promise you she will go every Sunday because that's the kind of person she is! We will miss her. She is also one of my piano students.
