You're Not Alone

We've been with Brother Romney who writes for the church magazines for the past 4 days. Yesterday we took him to Charminar and also Golconda Fort. He had a fabulous time taking pictures and enjoying the history of Hyderabad. We were near the end of our trip and he mentioned he still needed to get a picture of the West Marred Pally Chapel . We were in an auto and asked our auto driver to wait for a few minutes. The driver said OK. Bro. Romney was out of the auto taking his picture. Elder K remembered he had left some things in our locker that we needed for 4th branches Family Home Evening so he ran in to get them. When Elder K left the auto driver got out of the auto and walked toward the back. All at once I heard something that sounded like the driver was doing something to the back of the auto. Then all at once I realized the noise was inside the auto and behind me. There is a place behind the seat to put a couple of small grocery bags. I started to look behind me when I realized what ever it was was there and trying to get out. I grabbed my head for coverage and started scooching to the other side of the auto. Before I could get out something flew into the auto and out onto the street. It was a red chicken with a string tied to it’s leg! The auto driver ran into the street, grabbed the string, and started to reel in his chicken. He gathered it into his arms and was laughing his head off. He neatly tucked it together and put it under the driver’s seat. (still chuckling at what had happened) We didn’t hear anymore from the chicken but I told the auto driver who was still laughing and doesn’t speak English that I would never forget the experience!! Maybe I'll start checking behind the seat of the auto!!!
