Christmas Greetings

This weeks Family Home Evening was making Greeting Cards.
It was messy....but fun!!!

We're displaying their proud finished projects.
Jackson made this card and then gave it to me! So nice.

Next week we will have a slide show and show all of the pictures I have taken at 2nd branch, including these that you are looking at!!

This is Sister Barthi's husband, Promod. She said, "He never does anything creative like this." She was very excited he was having fun!!!

Prashant is an investigator. He's been coming for quite sometime. His parents don't want him to join the church until he's older. He feels left out because there are things he can't do because he's not a member. (pass the sacrament...bless it...hold callings) The elders told him to just keep coming and be part of what we are doing. He comes almost all the time to family Home Evening. When I was sick and needed Vitiman C but we couldn't find any. They told us there was a shortage of it. Prashant sent us home and he went looking for some until he could find it. Then he brought it to our apartment later than night. A very nice 16 year old. I also teach him piano. He's one of the few that lives near by us.

The guys are teasing Sani. She had a hard time at Family Home evening. First she ruined her card and needed another one. Than she ruined her ribbon and needed more. Then she dropped her flower in the garbage and it got all wet and she wanted another. Sister Barthi said "Next time we do a craft we are going to put a sign on the door that says..""Sani Can't come!!"" I agree with Sister Barthi. You were a pain tonight Sani! But I still love you!

Happy Faces with Happy greetings!!

Elder K. Divies out the ribbon.

Group shot of everyone working so intently on their individual greeting cards!!

Sister Barthi helps us every week with family home evening. She is so fun to work with and we think of her as a dear friend. Jeffery is so very clever and very talented. He learned "Happy Birthday Jesus" for our Christmas Fireside and did a wonderful job.

I must have liked this picture a lot because I downloaded it twice and I'm to lazy to delete it and start over!!!
So enjoy it a second time!!

Nikhil also sang a solo in our Christmas Fireside. He's very talented at whatever. He's the one that Elder says 10 more guitar lessons and he'll be teaching me!!

Mary in Pink and the girl is an investegator. I forgot her name.
Mahesh.....Elder K's prize English graduate and Career Work shop Graduate. He is a new convert that just gave his first talk in Sacrament meeting last Sunday. He was shy and introverted before taking the classes from Elder K. Now he comes across as self confident and out-going. The gospel has blessed his life. He's even teaching English now!!! Go Mahesh!!

Praveen is always smiling. The world seems a happier place when Praveen arrives because he always seems to be happy.

Arvind in the background.

I bet Sharon is happy that there is a little girl in India named after her. That is very cool. I love all of the cards that they all made. You make me want to serve a mission as a couple. It seems way fun compared to what I had to do. I am glad you are enjoying your time and service there. We love you both and will miss you next week!
