Church Magazine Writer

I think I mentioned that we spent a few days with Bro. Romney from SLC. He came to get information on the church in India. He said he sees 2 or 3 stories but he'll go home and put things together and see what happens. We enjoyed our time with him. Some of the interviews were so touching and heart warming. There are some fabulous people here.

Brother Romney also enjoyed the beauty and nature of India. Here is a cow wondering down the street. Not an uncommon scene.
Golconda Fort was also a favorite for him. We loved watching him oooooooo and awwwwwwww over the beauty of the fort and how it pulls you back into time.
President Venkat and his wife Linda. (4th branch) Married a little less than a year.
They fed us Eclairs and juice before we left.
Bro Romney did over 50 interviews while in India. They were 1 of the 50.

The Thomas's (left to right)
Rennie and Keerthi
Matilda and Reggie.
Both couples married less than 6 month. Reggie and Rennie are brothers. Reminiscing of their dating and marriage memories.
We had lunch with them this day.

Brother Mekala and his family also interviewed with Brother Romney.
At this home we had soda with ice cream in it and lots of different cakes to eat.

We stopped at Rennie and Keerthi's home at the end of the day. We were really full from all the food the good people had shared with us.
Keerthi had soda and some really good flavored "Tomato Chips" that she served to us. I told her I was too full but they were so good I ate them anyway.
A generous, loving people with big hearts.
Just one photo of Bro Romney being facinated with the beauty of Golconda Fort. His son served here in 2002-4.
Quite by accident the first home we took him to was a home where Bro Francis had been baptized by Brother Romney's son. The family were so pleased to be blessed by a visit from the father of the elder who baptized this man. It was a big blessing and honor for this family to have Bro. Romney come to visit their home! We felt blessed to be part of the experience.

I love that Brother Romney was able to meet some of his sons converts. It made me choke up a little bit. Very touching. I think of my mission and how cool it would be if you visited Ecuador and stumbled upon some of the people that I helped to convert. Love your blog!

After the beating Alex gives Grampa, I don't think you can take him. You better let Ted handle him. I taught him Karate Chop from somewhere and he is getting a little to good with it. Listen, I just herd Alex say "bring on grampa Ted" He will be waiting.
