Typical Monday Night

This is our typical Monday night. We go to 4th branch at 4:45 and dance for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Here we are teaching the Swing...or Jitterbug...which ever you prefer to call it.

Country line dancing is a favorite. We started with that because we didn't ever have girls. We started with 10-12 young single adults. The girls you see are investigaters and the boys are really hoping they stick. I asked Satish in the orange stripe shirt if he had been praying for girls???? He smiled really big.

After dance we gather for family home evening. This past Monday was probably the best FHE we've had thus far. Our lesson was on Unity and we started by putting puzzles together. Some pieces were missing to show that we must work together and it still isn't right if some of the group is missing because of this reason or that.

Then we did Role Playing. Elder Korrayya was funny. He put to hymn books together and jumped up to tell everyone "Take 2."

Satish and Pradeep came on their motorbike to branch meeting.

Divided into 3 groups they each had to role play and come up with a solution. This group were planning a branch activity and everyone had a different idea of what should happen. There was definately a lack of unity amongst the group but they got it solved.

This group was funny. They didn't like Sudhaker because "He stinks" and they wouldn't fellowship him at church. After a lesson from the Elder's they gave him a hug and told him they loved him.

This group were sharing gossip and tearing the branch apart.

The talent here is amazing. I could put together a great play with this 4th bunch group. They are all actors and very creative on their own. We should have been doing more role playing as they are very good at it.
We love our FHE group
