Ted & I went in the west hills of the valley we live in and found a fun place to spend the afternoon. It was a glorious warm winter day. The trees were beautiful and nothing but the quiet gentle sounds of the woods could be heard.

We found Snowshoe Rabbit tracks in the snow and also the tracks of elk. We were quiet and the only sound we heard was the crunch made as our snowshoes hit the snow with each step.

There were some fascinating views of how the snow lay in the bushes and trees. The picture doesn't do justice to how we felt.

Adjusing our snowshoes. It was only the 2nd time we have snowshoed this year.

Hope this provides a small glimpse into a wonderful day. Even the sky was magnificent looking.
